Indian Cinema prominently known as Bollywood shall be celebrating 100 remarkable years of existence at the Indian Film Festival in Melbourne. Indian Cinema was born in the year 1913 and ever since then it has given over thousand memorable films to remember.
The Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM) is preparing to celebrate 100 glorious years of Indian cinema. This event is scheduled to be held from 3rd—15th May. It shall be screening some of the most memorable movies that were created in 100 years of existence of Bollywood. Memorable films like Raja Harishchandra (1913) shall be screened at this event. The event will also screen Yash Chopra’s last directorial venture Jab Tak Hai Jaan as a tribute for his contribution to the Indian cinema. The event shall close with the Australian premiere of the movie ‘The Reluctant Fundamentalist’(2012).
